Marbleized Mesmerized


Marble is magical, practical, indestructible, ancient, elegant and it’s everywhere in Florence, Italy. From the Michelangelo’s to the Duomo’s rosy, mossy green and ivory white geometric patterns, to the marbleized meats and swirls in the gelato, and of course… the paper. This one we picked up at one of the oldest paper in shops in Firenze, Giulio Giannini e Figlio, across form the Palazzo Pitti. Reminds us of one favorite patterns, Marble 4420 by Josef Frank.
