This weekend we’ll have some special goodies to round out your holiday shopping lists. Some old works, some new works, some current works, and some exclusive works. [Thanks Andrew!]
Some Christmas lines for your delight – That’s Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night. Clock the Christmas Carol [here].
To show our love and appreciation for Charles Schulz, we have created a 24 page zine called “Shades Of Brown.” It’s an exploration of the expressions of Charlie Brown. It will be available at Partners & Spade, as a part of their holiday event, starting this weekend. Drop on by! We will also have a selection of our chocolates and a few other fun surprises.
Dear Santa, Mary wants everything Chance this Christmas. What girl wouldn’t want these three picks under the tree?! The handknit Two Stripe Stocking Cap in red & white (soft and not itchy!), the super soft classic Long Sleeve T Shirt, and the ingénues Pixie Tee. Love the signature celluloid tomato red. Chance gets it right. Check out more stocking stuffers here.
Snaps are from Jean-Luc Godard 1968 film “Sympathy for the Devil”, originally titled “One Plus One”. The film is a collage of elements that do not directly interact. Boring & mesmerising. Rockin’ and revolutionary. Beautifully composed. It’s fun to watch the Stones kick it in the studio, and of course the awesome use of type.
Roy Lichtenstein at the Morgan Library through January 2, 2011.
